Tracing for the family of Zziwa Abdurrahman

The above named child was treated by the father and his step mother. The two were known as Sharif and Mariam respectively. But the mother was both physical and mentally challenged therefore she couldn’t stand or talk well. The case first reported to Kibuye Police and later was forwarded to Katwe Police division on 30th-10-2017 and therefore both partners were arrested. But according to police, Mariam was released because she had a three month old baby who was suffering from fever. Sharif remained in custody and Zziwa was handed over to Nsambya Babies’ Home for temporary care and protection as the police settle the matters. According to the management of Nsambya Babies Home, Zziwa’s father was given a police bond but disappeared. Later the boy was referred to Kankobe Children’s Home for further education, care and protection after reaching 6yrs of age because Nsambya take cares of babies only.
